Mrs. Tammy Renee Taylor, 65, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, December 29, 1959, to the late Nita and Billy Bonner. She retired as a corrections officer at the Mississippi Department of Corrections in Leakesville, MS.

Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents, Nita and Billy Bonner; infant son, Terry Lynn Taylor, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Terry Taylor of Buckatunna, MS; daughter, Tara Barnett (Brian) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Rhonda Jordan (Gerald) of Waynesboro, MS; half-sister, Kelley Stevens (Josh) of Overland Park, KS; step mother, Rita Bonner of Waynesboro, MS; step sister, Dedra Bunch (Jason) of Clara, MS; step brother, Curt Lovelace (Felecia) of Gilbertown, AL; four grandchildren, Madison Reeves, Morgan Freeman Grantham (Lamar), Kaleigh Barnett, and Kennedi Barnett; great granddaughter, Kinsleigh Reeves.

Visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 11, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Lisa Taylor and Rev. Billy Trull officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
