Mrs. Sherry A. Pearson, 68, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, February 27, 1955 to the late Thomas and Louise Overstreet.

She was a member of Lake Congregational Methodist Church in Laurel, MS. She worked as a Saleswoman at the Baptist Bible and Bookhouse. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She loved working in her flower beds and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Louise Overstreet; son, Jamie Pearson; brother, Tommy Overstreet; sister, Debbie Overstreet Dupree. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ernest Pearson; daughter, Michelle Brady (Daryl); brother, Michael Overstreet all of Laurel, MS; granddaughter, Jasmine Pearson (Ryan Brumfield) of Hattiesburg, MS; two grandsons, Gavin Pearson of Laurel, MS, Jacob LaCroix of Petal, MS; three great granddaughters, Rylan Brumfield, Summer Brumfield, Olivia Brumfield; great grandson, Kory James Brumfield to be born in May of 2023.

Visitation for Mrs. Pearson will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Lake Congregational Methodist Church, Laurel, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Lake Congregational Methodist Church in Laurel, MS with Rev. Bill Ross and Rev. Kenneth Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Myrick Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Pallbearers are Ricky Brewer, Ray Cochran, Marty Dearman, Mitchell Nowell, Matt Maxcey, Matthew Nowell, Mark Brewer, Michael Overstreet, and Gavin Pearson. Honorary Pallbearers are Daryl Brady, Ryan Brumfield, Patrick Sellers, James Branch, and all the employees of The Blain Companies.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff of Amedysis Home Health and Gentiva Hospice Care that brought so much care, comfort, and love to our beloved Sherry and our family.
