Mrs. Shelia Stuart, 69, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, November 4, 1953 to the late Dan and Alice Parnell. She was a member of Waynesboro First United Methodist Church. She was retired from Wayne County Public School System after teaching over 32 years in various positions. Mrs. Stuart is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Stuart; parents, Dan and Alice Parnell; three sisters, Peggy Mozingo, Janice Pippen, Doris Bunch; brother, Gary Parnell. She is survived by her two sons, William Rhett Stuart of Hattiesburg, MS, Matthew Tyler Stuart (Lakine); daughter, MacKenzie Elise Stuart; sister, Frances James (Ronnie); two brothers, Grady Parnell (Kim), Terry Parnell, all of Waynesboro, MS; three grandchildren, Lily Claire Stuart, Ella Mae Stuart, Jack Riley Stuart; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Stuart will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steven Bruns officiating. Interment will be in Mulberry Cemetery in Richton, MS.
