Ms. Sara Ann (Ray) McCaskey, 85, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born in Sturgis, KY on Monday, March 17, 1941, to the late J B and Hazel (Pride) Ray. She was a member of Waynesboro First Methodist. She retired as a Legal Secretary for the Stanford Young Law Office in Waynesboro, MS.

Ms. McCaskey is preceded in death by her parents, J B and Hazel (Pride) Ray. She is survived by her son, Matthew Todd McCaskey (Belva) of Bushnell, FL; granddaughter, Lindsey Meritt (Brandon) of Owens Cross Roads, AL; great granddaughter, Aniston Merritt; two great grandsons, Waylon and Dawson Merritt.

A Graveside Service for Ms. McCaskey will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Pride Bordley Cemetery in Sturgis, KY. Interment will be in Pride Bordley Cemetery in Sturgis, KY.
