Mr. Samuel David Holland, 82, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Wednesday, March 22, 1939 to Rev. Austin Holland and Susie Pugh Holland. He was retired as a Maintenance Supervisor with Cooperative Energy of South Mississippi. Mr. David was a son, brother, husband, father, mechanic, traveler, wood worker, and loved to be outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Neely Holland; father, Rev. Austin Holland; mother, Susie Pugh Holland; son, Johnny Holland; daughter, Sherry Holland Rowe; two brothers, Wilford Holland, Robert Holland.

Mr. David is survived by his four brothers, Chester Holland (Annett), James Holland (Ann), Bobby Holland, Charles Holland (Pat); two sisters, Geneva Stewart, Ester Howell (Bill); Sister-In-Law, Lorrine Holland; Son-In-Law, Sammy Rowe; several nieces and nephews; companion, Rose Pounds and her family.

Graveside Services for Mr. David will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Bo Curry officiating.
