Mrs. Sallie Ruth Coaker, 93, of Yellow Pine, AL passed from this life Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. She was born in Yellow Pine, AL on Friday, September 12, 1930, to the late Will Deese, Sr. and Flora Deese. She was a member of Yellow Pine Baptist Church.

Mrs. Coaker is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Douglas Coaker; parents, Will Deese, Sr. and Flora Deese; son, Johnny Glenn Coaker; Son-In-Law, Bobby Ray Denmark; five brothers, Jessie Deese, Sr., Oscar Deese, Aubrey Deese,

Harry Deese, and Will Deese, Jr.; sister, Baby Deese. She is survived by two sons, Clarence Eugene Coaker (Joyce) of State Line, MS, Dwain Coaker (Carissa) of Yellow Pine, AL; three daughters, Virginia Kittrell (Wilson) of Leakesville, MS, Wanda Gossett (Robert) of Buckatunna, MS, Teresa Denmark of Leakesville, MS; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Coaker will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Phillip Howard and Rev. Wade Turner officiating. Interment will be in Grace Williams Cemetery in Fruitdale, AL.
