Mr. Ryan Ellis Shirley, 53, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, December 3, 1969, to Troy Haskel Shirley and Emma Louise Ruffin. He worked as a heavy rotating equipment alignment technician. Mr. Shirley is preceded in death by his step-father, Gerald Davis. He is survived by his two daughters, Britney Shirley (Shandor Windham, II), Jennifer Shirley; grandson, Shandor Windham, III; father, Troy Haskel Shirley (Thelma Jo) of River Ridge, LA; mother, Emma Louise Ruffin; brother, Ed Shirley (Stacy); two sisters, Tory Foster (Richard), all of Waynesboro, MS, Donna Dickson (Scott) of Destrehan, LA; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Shirley will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Roger Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Philadelphus Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
