Mrs. Ruth Harris Kendrick, 81, of State Line, MS passed from this life Monday, February 5, 2024 at home. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, April 12, 1942 to Willis Harris and Erma Harris. She was a member of Progress Assembly of God Church. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Buckatunna Feed Mill. Mrs. Kendrick is preceded in death by her parents Willis Harris and Erma Harris; her husband George Kendrick; brothers Henry Evans Harris, Clarence Murray, Winston Harris, Thurston Harris; her sisters Elzada Rawson, Pauline Ready, Maxine McInnis, Juanita Harris, Mattie Mae Bronson, Etheline Stinson. She is survived by her sons George (Cissie) Kendrick, of Waynesboro, MS and Mark (Celeste) Kendrick, of Mobile, AL; daughters Gina (David) Mills, of State Line, MS, Renee (Randy) Cooley, of Waynesboro, MS, Angela (Andy) Hagan, of Millry, AL, and Christy (Scott) Revette, of State Line, MS; brother Preston (Judy) Harris, of Mobile, AL; sister-in-law, Patricia Harris, of Buckatunna, MS; granddaughters, Brittany Steppee, Denna Mills, Clarissa Brown, Brittany Gardner, Hayley Revette. Serving as Pallbearers are her seven grandsons, Kenneth Mills, Blake Cooley, Grant Mills, Dawson Kendrick, Caleb Kendrick, Hayden Revette, and Ethan Hagan. Visitation for Mrs. Kendrick will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro MS, with Bro. John Brown, Mark Kendrick, and Bro. Randy Cooley officiating. Interment will be in the Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
