Mr. Rusty Brent Cauley, 42, of Wayne County, MS passed from this life Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in Natal, Rio Grande Do Norte, Brazil. He was born in Hattiesburg, MS on Wednesday, December 23, 1981, to Rev. Rocky and Sharon Cauley. He attended Union Grove Assembly of God Church in Richton, MS. He worked offshore for 20 years. He currently worked as a MPD Operator for Diamond Offshore Drilling.

Rusty is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Rocky Cauley; grandparents, J. D. and Irma Cauley, Robert and Esther Brown. He is survived by his wife, Melissa de Jesus, Vila Sao Bento, Brazil; mother, Sharon Cauley; first wife, Jill Cauley; son, Hunter Cauley; two children he loved and raised as his own, Kassidy Shirley, Landon Shirley, all of Waynesboro, MS, brother, Scott Cauley, Avera, MS; three step daughters, Talissa de Jesus, Thalia de Jesus, Tayla de Jesus, all of Brazil; nephews, Scotty Cauley, Zakk Cauley; niece, Dixie Cauley.

Visitation for Rusty will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Union Grove Assembly of God Church, Richton, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Union Grove Assembly of God Church in Richton, MS with Rev. Manuel Henderson and Rev. Chris Adcock officiating. Interment will be in Cauley Family Cemetery in Avera, MS.
