Mrs. Ruby Winters, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Quitman, MS on Tuesday, October 20, 1936, to the late Ernest Windham and Flora Johnson Ivy. She was retired as a co-owner and operator of Winter's Marina in Satsuma, AL. Mrs. Winters is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Winters; parents, Ernest Windham and Flora Johnson Ivy; twin sister, Ella Parnell. She is survived by her sons, Keith Winters and Stan Trigg of Waynesboro, MS; grandsons, Ryan Fitzgerald of Lilburn, GA, Ty Urpshot of Clayton, GA; daughter, Renee Urpshot of Chattanooga, TN. A private burial for Mrs. Winters will be held by her family in Providence Cemetery in Carmichael, MS.
