Mrs. Ruby M. Henderson, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born in Greene County, MS on Thursday, November 11, 1937, to the late Cecil Brewer and Lola Slade. She was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Henderson is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Chapman "Skin" Henderson; father, Cecil Brewer; mother, Lola Slade; great granddaughter, Kimberly Hogan; brother, David Slade; two sisters, Janice Peacock, Kay Brown. She is survived by her son, Cecil Zeb Henderson (Patricia), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Wanda Sullivan (Danny), Richton, MS; six grandchildren, Tom, Chucky, Elena, Tanya, Steven, and Jeremy; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Slade, Aubrey Brewer; four sisters, Judith Weese, Janet Runnells, Jean Shepard, Shirley Lambert; a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Tom, Chuck, Jeremy, Kristian, Paul Hancock, and Ray Henderson. Visitation for Mrs. Henderson will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Gerald Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
