Mr. Roy Carlie Cravey, II, 53, of Birmingham, AL passed from this life Monday, July 3, 2023 at his residence in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Biloxi, MS on Monday, January 26, 1970 to Charles Roy Cravey and Linda Cravey. He was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. He worked as a self-employed Environmentalist. Mr. Cravey is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy Carlie and Dorothy Cravey; maternal grandfather, Edwin Eugene Oldham. He is survived by his wife, Amy West Cravey of Birmingham, AL; father, Charles Roy Cravey (Betsy); mother, Linda Cravey; father and mother-in-law, Lamar and Wanda West; brother-in-law, Michael West (Melanie); sister-in-law, Dina West, all of Waynesboro, MS; two nephews, Elliot West, Easton West; niece, Haven Bynum (Derek); a host of cousins and other family members. Visitation for Mr. Cravey will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
