Mrs. Rosa Lee Peterson, 88, of Millry, AL passed from this life Thursday, May 16, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Millry, AL on Wednesday, July 10, 1935, to the late William Clayton Tate and Florrie Gertrude Tate. She was a member of Flat Branch Church. She retired as an assistant manager at Cam Manufacturing.

Mrs. Peterson is preceded in death by her parents, William Clayton Tate and Florrie Gertrude Tate; three brothers, James Clayton Tate, Leonard Tate, Thomas Tate; two sisters, Lois McCary, Florine Dearmon. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Peterson; son, Raymond Randolph Kirkland, Both of Millry, AL; two sisters, Louise Ford, Chatom, AL, Lora Mitchell, Bigbee, AL; two grandchildren, Shea Whigham (Ty), Brent Kirkland (Heather), both of Millry, AL; three great grandchildren, Jayke Whigham, Haisley Whigham, and Langston Kirkland.

Visitation for Mrs. Peterson will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Flat Branch Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Flat Branch Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Jim Koen and Rev. Junior Brewer officiating. Interment will be in Flat Branch Cemetery in Millry, AL.
