Mr. Roger Dale Davis, 72, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, August 6, 1949 to William Houston Davis and Josie Davis. Mr. Davis served in the United States Armed Forces and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He had worked as a Self-employed Oil Pumper. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Davis; father, William Houston Davis; mother, Josie Davis; brother, James Truman Davis. He is survived by his son, Rodney Davis (Julie); two grandchildren, Rhyne Davis, Shelby Davis, all of Clara, MS, three brothers, William Earl Davis, Waynesboro, MS, Ellis Earl Davis, Lynn Davis, both of Clara, MS. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Bridgeway Church, 181 Tatum Road, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Bridgeway Church with Rev. DeJuan Walley officiating. Interment will be in Davis Family Cemetery.
