Mr. Rodney Lee Ward, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 27, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Houston, TX on Wednesday, December 14, 1960, to Raymond E. and Jean Ward. He worked in Auto Paint and Body Repair at Ward's Body Shop. Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Ward; brother, Raymond Gene Ward. He is survived by his loving mother, Jean Ward of Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Tonya Cross (Jay) of Waynesboro, MS and Brianna Ward of San Antonio, TX; wife, Kimberly Joyner of San Antonio, TX; brother, David Ward (Melissa) of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Julie West (Jack) of Freeport, TX; four grandchildren, Mary Cross, Aleighna Cross, Elizabeth Cross, and Noah Cross. Visitation for Mr. Ward will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
