Robert Earl Wilkinson, 77 of Summerfield, NC, passed from this life on November 22, 2024. Born January 21, 1947, to the late Earl William and Olive Lucile Wilkinson. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked in many different industries after his time in service, but his passion was pushing tugboats up the river. Mr. Wilkinson is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia DiAne Wilkinson; father, Earl William Wilkinson; mother, Olive Lucille Wilkinson; daughter, Christie Lee Deese; and great grandson Scott, Paul Powell. He is survived by, daughter, Ashley (Bruce) Berry; daughter, Bobby (Jr.) Barnett; son, Nickie (Dennis Jones) Wilkinson; sister, Lisa (Danny) Allen; sister, Susan (Ricky) Fowler; brother, Edward Wilkinson; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and his beloved dog Bama. A memorial service will be held at Lewis Chapel Cemetery, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2PM with eulogies given by Mr. Bruce Berry.
