Mr. Robert Floyd "Bob" Hendry, 89, of Waynesboro, MS, passed from this life Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Veterans Home in Collins, MS. He was born in Jones County, MS on November 20, 1934, to Elmer Floyd and Mary Jewel Anderson Hendry. Mr. Hendry served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired as owner and operator of Hendry's Fish Farm in the Strengthford community.

Mr. Hendry is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Deborah Straub; and 7 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sarah "Teenie" Hendry, of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Ronny Hendry (Sheila) of Waynesboro, MS, and Patrick Hendry (Tammy) of Ovett, MS; a daughter, Elaine Irwin (Ron) of Cleveland, TN; three sisters; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
