Mrs. Rita Lee Perry, 65, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, June 4, 1961, to the late Billy and Rachel Chism. She was a member of Water Oak Baptist Church. She worked as a cook in the food service industry.

   Mrs. Perry is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Rachel Chism; two sisters, Wanda Conn and Linda Phillips. She is survived by her loving husband, Baymon Perry of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Scott Chism of Jackson, MS.

   A Graveside Service for Mrs. Perry will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2026, at Shirly Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Tim Moore Officiating.
