Mrs. Rita Mills, age 59, of Waynesboro, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was born on May 11, 1966, in Bay Springs, Mississippi, to the late Robert Fulton Sims and Jackie Thompson. Rita was dedicated to caring for others, working as a Home Health Caregiver with Southern Grace. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Fulton Sims and Jackie Thompson. Mrs. Rita is lovingly survived by her husband, Raymond Creel Mills; her son, Marshall Stanley; her daughter, Amberlynn Roberts and husband Tyler; two sisters, Betty Sue Corey and Linda Odom; three cherished grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Private Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date to honor her life and memory.
