Mr. Rickey Ladale Walley, 50, of Chatom, AL passed from this life Tuesday, April 9, 2024. He was born in Mobile, AL on Thursday, November 8, 1973 to Raymond H. Walley, Jr. and Mary Walley. He graduated from Fruitdale High School in 1994 where he also played in the Band. He was a member of Laton Hill Baptist Church. Rickey is preceded in death by his father, Raymond H. Walley, Jr., grandparents, Raymond H. Walley, Sr., Clyde and Ruby Mizell, Grady and Velma Scarbrough, Dub and Helen Helton. He is survived by his mother, Mary Walley, Chatom, AL; daughter, Hannah Walley, Chatom, AL; two sisters, Donna Goldman (Bobby), Chatom, AL, Jackie Timothy (Andy), Tibbie, AL; brother, Richard Walley, Chatom, AL; fiancée, Kathy Chandler, Waynesboro, MS; four stepchildren, Brandon Bonner, Amber James, Ashley Craver, Tommy Craver; two nieces, two nephews, five great nieces, seven great nephews, two grandchildren. Visitation for Rickey will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Laton Hill Baptist Church, Chatom, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Laton Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Tucker, Rev. Don Whigham, and Rev. Leland James, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Milstead Cemetery in Washington County, AL. Pallbearers are Hannah Walley, Richard Walley, Sheldon Timothy, Robert Goldman, Michael Walley, Adam Carpenter, Jason Walley, Josh Walley, Kevin Crager, Keith Crager.
