Mr. Richard F. "Gator" Joswig, Jr., 73, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Mineola, NY on Tuesday, April 22, 1952, to the late Jule and Richard F. Joswig, Sr. He was a member of Big Rock United Methodist Church. He worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Mr. Joswig is preceded in death by his parents, Jule and Richard F. Joswig, Sr.; stepson, Miles Matthew Martin; granddaughter, Henleigh Estelle Huff. He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy Lynn Joswig; two sisters, Paula Hill (Joseph Callan) and Kristin Matlak (John); two daughters, Amber Jule Joswig and Bentley Madison Joswig; stepson, Dr. Alexander Knight; two granddaughters, Aspen Mae Dunagan and Madeline Martin.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Joswig will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Big Rock United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, MS.
