Mr. Reuben Lee Douglas, 87, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sullivan's House in Ellisville, MS. He was born in Magnolia Springs, AL on Monday, February 25, 1935 to Richard Bodie Douglas, Sr. and Alameater Tillman Douglas. Mr. Reuben served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Receptionist at Opryland Hotel. Mr. Reuben is preceded in death by his father, Richard Bodie Douglas, Sr.; mother, Alameater Douglas; 4 brothers; 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Bobbie F. Douglas, Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Rev. Roger Douglas (Judy), Waynesboro, MS, Michael Douglas, Foley, AL; two daughters, Kathy Kelley (Charlie), Waynesboro, MS, Katie Stuckas (Neil), Mobile, AL; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Graveside Service for Mr. Reuben will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Roger Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Southern Methodist Church in Waynesboro, MS, Wounded Soldiers Fund, or a Veteran's Home of your choice.
