Ms. Rebecca Ann "Becca" Nored, 69, of Millry, AL peacefully passed from this life Saturday, January 25, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Shubuta, MS on Sunday, July 17, 1955, to Watson and Maudie Nored. She was a lifelong member of Hiwannee Baptist Church until the Church closed; she then attended Cullomburg Baptist Church in Silas, AL. Becca is preceded in death by her parents Maudie and Watson Nored, two sisters, Margaret Lofton and Cheryl Costilow, and two brothers, Eugene Stanley and R.W. (Pete) Nored. She is lovingly survived by three brothers, Arthur Lee Nored (Margaret Ann), Waynesboro, MS, W. F. Nored (Jean), Sevierville, TN, Tony Nored (Nora), Shubuta, MS; and one sister, Cathy Dearman (Sid), Mobile, AL; 5 nieces, 8 nephews; several great nieces and nephews; cousins; and a host of dear friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Hiwannee Baptist Cemetery. Interment will follow at Hiwannee Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hiwannee Baptist Cemetery Association, 29 Kate Street, Waynesboro, MS or any charity in memory of Ms. Nored.
