Mr. Raleigh Mac Cochran, 80, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital. He was born in Waynesboro on Friday, June 8, 1945 to Earley L. Cochran and Susie Cochran. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.  He was retired as a Roughneck in the Oilfield. Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by his father, Earley L. Cochran; mother, Susie Cochran; son, Lester Wayne Walley; son-in-law, Charles Smith; daughter, Genice Wilson, one brother; four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Cochran, Clara, MS; son, Timmy Walley, Waynesboro, MS; three daughters, Genell Nash, Waynesboro, MS, Brenda Pearson (Jimmy), Clara, MS, Lisa Smith, Waynesboro, MS; daughter-in-law, Debbie Walley; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Cochran will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tedlen Pittman officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Raleigh Walley, Derric West, Turk West, Devin Walley, JT Walley, Gary Nash, Don Fulmer, Bobby Walley.
