Mrs. Patricia "Patty" Davis, 66, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, October 1, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plant City, FL on Tuesday, November 15, 1955 to Robert Walter "Buddy" Hester and Vercie Mae Hester. She worked as an Automotive Associate at Wal Mart in Waynesboro, MS. Mrs. Patty is preceded in death by her husband, James Truman Davis; father, Robert Walter "Buddy" Hester; stepfather, Samuel Bud Hester; brother, James Hester; two sisters, Shirley Peters, Debbie Kelly; brother-in-law, Roger Davis. She is survived by her mother, Vercie Mae Hester of Tifton, GA; daughter, Sherry Bunch (Dale) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Donald Hester (Sue) of Tifton, GA; six sisters, Diane Goff of Albany, GA, Cindy Thompson of Enigma, GA, Carolyn Kelley (Freddie), Brenda Gershan, Peggy Lindsey (Johnny), Shirlene Goodman all of Tifton, GA; three grandchildren, Chance Bunch, Dylan Bunch, Auston Bunch all of Waynesboro, MS; special friends, Frankie and Billie Goodman of Tifton, GA; three brother-in-law's, Dooley Davis (Helen), Peanut Davis (Priscilla), Lynn Davis (Lisa) all of Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Service for Mrs. Patty will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2022 for her immediate family members and close friends due to limited parking space at the Davis Family Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Arnold Amason officiating. Interment will be in Davis Family Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
