Mrs. Pamela Bailey Rice, 64, of Baton Rouge, LA passed from this life Thursday, November 2, 2023 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was born in Gary, IN on Sunday, February 1, 1959 to Ansell Erwin Bailey and Ruby Jackson Bailey. She retired from The Elliott Breast Center as a X-Ray Technician. Mrs. Pamela is preceded in death by her father, Ansell Erwin Bailey; mother, Ruby J. Bailey; brothers, Dana Bailey, Terry Bailey; sister, Barbara "B. J." West. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Rice, Baton Rouge, LA; niece, Dana West Cooley (Scott), Waynesboro, MS; great nephew, Taylor Cooley and great niece, Caroline Cooley, both of Waynesboro. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro with Dr. Steve Smith officiating.
