Ms. Ouida (Odom) Taylor, 88, of Millry, AL passed from this life Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Millry, AL on Wednesday, May 15, 1935, to the late Christopher Columbus "Lum" and Flora Adelle Odom. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She retired as a Congressional Liaison for FEMA.

Ms. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Columbus "Lum" and Flora Adelle Odom; two sons, Christopher Joseph Taylor, Scott Christopher Taylor; brother, Norman Decelle Odom; sister, Carolyn Lavonne Harrison. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Taylor) Thomas of Cumming, GA; brother, Larry Odom (Cathy) of Millry, AL; four grandchildren, Brett Taylor (Nicole) of Tanner, AL, Courtney Elder (Deric) of Opelika, AL, Kinsley Thomas of Cumming, GA, Carson Thomas of Buford, GA; four great grandchildren, Britton Taylor, Madolyn Taylor, Lane Taylor, and Ryder Elder; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Taylor will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Mike Chatham and Rev. Scott Giles officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
