Mr. Ottis C. Henderson, Jr, 87, of Waynesboro, MS, passed from this life Sunday, April 2, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, June 5, 1935 to Ottis C. Henderson and Myrtle Henderson. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church. He had worked as a Crane Operator. Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Carol Henderson; father, Ottis C. Henderson and mother, Myrtle Henderson; son, Michael Henderson; daughter, Kimberly Henderson; two grandsons, Clifford Goode and Colby Shirley. He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Henderson (Todd Holifield), Piave, MS, Angie Shirley (Charles), Waynesboro, MS; two special daughters, Cindy Finnell and Jazlyn Bunch Lee; sister, Pamela Singleton (Tommy), State Line, MS; seven grandchildren, Brandon Bunch, Kevin Goode, Michael Henderson, Matthew Henderson, Kimberly Breland, Christina Bunch, Dakota Shirley; two step-granddaughters, Jennifer Gray, Mandy Odom; 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Visitation for Mr. Henderson will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. David Grayson officiating. Interment will be in County Line Cemetery in State Line, MS. Pallbearers are Ottis Carl Henderson, Jared Henderson, Nick Bunch, Caine Rigney, Randy Lee, Wayne Stevens, and Mitchell Evans.
