Mrs. Opal Beatrice Arnold, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Friday, July 29, 1932, to Percy H. and Virgie Greene. She was a member of Chicora Baptist Church. Mrs. Arnold is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Arnold, Jr.; father, Percy H. Greene; mother, Virgie Windham; two brothers, Robert Greene, Donald Ray Greene; infant sister, Voncille Greene. She is survived by her son, John Randall "Randy" Arnold (Debbie), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Jackie Powe (Jerry), Waynesboro, MS; brother, James Ander Greene (Martha), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Martha Shirley, Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Casey Neal (Chad), Orange Beach, AL, Micah Powe (Krystal), Mobile, AL, Callie Allen (Taylor), Waynesboro, MS; four great grandchildren, Camryn Neal, Cooper Neal, Cannon Neal, Bexley Allen; special friend, Jettie McKee, Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Arnold will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
