Ms. Ola Mae Street, 98, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Lucedale, MS on Saturday, November 12, 1927, to the late Thomas Jefferson Burgess, Sr. and Ollie Mae (Williams) Burgess. She retired from Public Health Care as an LPN. Ms. 

   Street is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Jefferson Burgess, Sr.; mother, Ollie Mae (Williams) Holland; three brothers, Tom Burgess, Jack Burgess, and Obie Burgess; three sisters, June Reynolds, Margaret Street, and Lillie Howard. She is survived by her son, Gary Street of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Billie Jo Williamson of Waynesville, MO; a host of nieces and nephews.

   Visitation for Ms. Street will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Lowery Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Interment will be in Lowery Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
