Mr. Norman McLain, 66, of Ellisville, MS, where he lived with his sister. He passed from this life Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, October 28, 1958, to the late Earnest McLain and Alzada Powell. He worked as an equipment operator in the Oil Field.

Mr. McLain is preceded in death by his father, Earnest McLain; mother, Alzada Powell; stepfather, Fred Powell; two sisters, Linda Hall and Sarah Powell; two brothers, Steven McLain and Edward McLain. He is survived by a lifelong companion, Judy Ann McLain; son, Norman L. McLain; daughter, Tiffeny McLain (Anthony Bond), all of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Dianne Perry of Jones County, MS; four grandchildren, James Dyson Freeman, John Allen Freeman, Nathaniel Lawayne McLain, Serenity Leighann McLain; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. McLain will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jerry Overstreet officiating. Interment will be in Mulberry Cemetery in Richton, MS.
