Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Harris, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, October 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro on Friday, November 8, 1935 to Sim Davis and Vada Davis. She was a member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church. She was retired as a Machine Operator at Wells Lamont. Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Harris; father, Sim Davis; mother, Vada Davis; infant twin girls; three brothers, Carter Davis, Clifton Davis, Clyde Ray Davis; four sisters, Edna Bell Gibson, Eva Corvino, Agnes Russell, Rebecca Brewer. She is survived by her son, Curtis Lassiter, State Line, MS; four daughters, Shirley Jones, Valdosta, GA, Nancy Lassiter, Waynesboro, MS, Vickie Hopkins (David), Williamstown, KY, Loree Lovell (Eddie), Powder Springs, GA; two brothers-in-law, Griffin Carter (Brenda), William Ray Henderson, all of Waynesboro, MS; 12 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Harris will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2025, with a Lie-In-State from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Little Rock Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Ryan Powers and Rev. Bruce Cooley officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Jeremy Lassiter, Walter Pittman, Stephen Hopkins, Alex Lovell, Eddie Lovell, David Hopkins.
