Mrs. Nancy Baygents, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, October 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Victoria, VA on Friday, November 10, 1950, to the late Virginia and James Hancock. She was a member of Southern Methodist Church of Waynesboro. She retired as a Clerk at Wayne County Circuit Clerk and Wayne General Home Health & Hospice.

Mrs. Baygents is preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and James Hancock; brother, John Hancock. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jamie Baygents of Waynesboro, MS; son, Dennie Kessler of Virginia; stepdaughter, Denise Baygents Barnett of Missouri; sister, Jackie Hancock of Virginia; two step granddaughters, Abbey and Kyleigh Barnett of Missouri.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Baygents will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 27, 2025, at Baygents-Dyess Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Interment will be in Baygents-Dyess Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
