Mr. Morris Mason, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, April 24, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, April 13, 1946 to Obie Mason and Stella Mason. He was a member of Water Oak Baptist Church.  He retired as an Oil Well Consultant in the Oilfield. Mr. Mason is preceded in death by his father, Obie Mason; mother, Stella Mason; daughter, Tracy Mason; brother, Billy Ray Mason, brother-in-law, Alex McIlwain, Jr.; sister-in-law, Betty Rae Burgess Malley. He is survived by his wife, Janet Mason, son, Robby Mason (Wanda), daughter, Kim Bunch (Keith), all of Waynesboro, MS; two brothers, Charlie Mason (Janice), Buckatunna, MS,  Ronnie Mason (Melissa), Waynesboro, MS; three sisters, Dora Ross, Debbie McIlwain, Paula Trigg (Randy); sister-in-law, Hazel Mason, all of Waynesboro, MS; nine grandchildren, James West (Hope), Jeremy West, Hunter Bunch, Brody Bunch, Kristen Meadows (Ryan), Kalli Wardrop (Shayn), Maggie Mason, Abigale Mason, Makenna Mason; five great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Mason will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Mitchell Smith and Rev. Jason Sehon officiating. Interment will be in Water Oak Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
