Mr. Mitchell "Mitch" Davis, 66, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, September 19, 1955 to James H. Davis and Lillian I. Davis. He was a member of Bridgeway Church. He was retired as a Welder from H & P Drilling Comp. After retirement he went back to work with Jones Medical as a maintenance man. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Rose L. Davis; mother, Lillian I. Davis. He is survived by his father, James H. Davis; son, Eric Davis both of Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Dr. Jamie Davis-Tubbs (David) of Port Allen, LA; two brothers, Kenny Davis (Lesia), Aubrey Davis (Alesia) both of Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren, Haley Walters (Tanner), Mason Davis, Sawyer Davis, Steele Davis, Elliot Tubbs, Oliver Tubbs, Isaac Tubbs; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, September 2, 2022 at Bridgeway Church, Waynesboro, MS. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Bridgeway Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. DeJuan Walley officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Patrick Revette.
