Mr. Mitchell Ray Cooley, 73, of Jackson, MS passed from this life Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Jackson, MS. He was born in Laurel, MS on Monday, December 29, 1952 to Arnold Claudis Cooley and Grace Landrum Cooley. Mr. Cooley is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Claudis Cooley; mother, Grace Landrum Cooley; five brothers, H. T. Cooley, Aldean Cooley, John Cooley, S. V. Cooley, W. C. Cooley; four sisters, Virginia Mills, Myrtle Cunningham, Jewel Cooley Hucklebee, Margaret Cooley. He is survived by his two sisters, Christine Williams, Glenda C. Brewer (Stanley); and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Cooley.
