Mr. Mickey R. Hollinghead, 78, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Lucedale, MS on Friday, October 3, 1947, to the late Laura Loraine Cupp and William Cecil Hollinghead. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Waynesboro, MS. He retired as a maintenance man for Lake View Apartments. Mr. Hollinghead is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Loraine Cupp McCurdy; father, William Cecil Hollinghead; two brothers, Val Hollinghead and Buster Hollinghead; sister, Katherine Hollinghead Clark. He is survived by a special friends and caregivers, Sharon and Anthony Hudson of Buckatunna, MS. A Private Graveside Service for Mr. Hollinghead will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
