Mr. Michael J. "Yogi" Milstead, 73, of Mobile, AL passed from this life Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at SAAD Hospice in Mobile, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, October 16, 1952, to the late Percy Roy Milstead, Jr. and Maxie Arnold Milstead. He worked as a Millwright in Construction.

   Mr. Milstead is preceded in death by his parents, Percy Roy Milstead, Jr. and Maxie Arnold Milstead; sister, Dana Milstead Waller. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathy Powe Milstead of Mobile, AL; son, Taz Milstead (Mandy) of Brookhaven, MS; daughter, Taylor Milstead Fulkerson (Brandon) of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Roger Milstead (Debbie) of Mobile, AL; sister, Judye Milstead Rowell of Semmes, AL; five grandchildren, Carson Cochran, Kace Fulkerson, Jace Fulkerson, Kahlen Milstead, and Owen Milstead.

   Visitation for Mr. Milstead will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Powe Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Interment will be in Powe Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
