Mr. Michael Clayton "Hogg" Pitts, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Mobile, AL on Monday, June 26, 1961, to the late Clayton and Sharon Pitts. He worked as a motorman in the Oil Field. Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Sharon Pitts; two sisters, Michelle Lee and Anna Pitts. He is survived by his three daughters, Channing Green (Lavon), Bricesaline Pitts, and Kaitlyn Pitts (Dusty Brannon); close friend, Sandra McLain Pitts; sister, Jessica Pitts; five grandchildren, Bryant, Tyler, Emma, Zander, and Zella, all of Waynesboro, MS; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Pitts will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, March 30, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Maynor Creek Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
