Mrs. Merita Gay Roberts, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, February 28, 2022 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. She was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, November 28, 1942 to Dennis Clark, Sr. and Mildred Clark. She had worked as a Bookkeeper at Cooley Trucking. Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Clark, Sr.; mother, Mildred Clark; brother, Bubba Clark. She is survived by her husband, William "Louie" Roberts, Waynesboro, MS; brother, Charles Lee Clark (Sheila), Magnolia, AR; sister, Judy Clark Moseley (Clay), Waynesboro, MS; Sister-In-Law, Mildred Young (Billy), Ocean Springs, MS; Nieces and Nephew. Funeral Services for Mrs. Roberts were held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS with Larry Gandy officiating. Interment was in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
