Mrs. Mary L. Ross, 69, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro on Monday, June 14, 1954 to Hugh James Cherry and Attie Lois Cherry. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God Church. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Hugh James Cherry and mother, Attie Lois Cherry; 7 Brothers and 5 Sisters. She is survived by her husband, Elijah Ross; son, Elige H. Ross; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Ross; two brothers, Harry Cherry, Harold Cherry, all of Waynesboro; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation for Mrs. Mary will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Friday, December 8, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 8, 2023 at Zion Rest Cemetery, 678 Denham Progress Road, Buckatunna, MS. Interment will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.
