Mrs. Mary Ann Rigney, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at her home. She was born in Gretna, LA on Monday, April 22, 1946 to Franklin Creel Rigney and Marell Crane. Mrs. Rigney is preceded in death by her; father and mother, Franklin Creel Rigney and Marell Crane; husband, Lonnie Ray Mills. She is survived by two sons; Raymond Mills, of Waynesboro, MS, Malcolm Mills (Samantha), of Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Meridith Mills, of Dayton, TN; three sisters, Elaine Frith (Butch), of Robertsdale, AL, Brenda Childress (Paul), of Loxley, AL, Marcell Davis ("Red"), of Waynesboro, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
