Mrs. Mary C. (Jones) Davis, 71, of Moss Point, MS passed from this life Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Monday, October 6, 1952, to the late Marvin L. "Jake" and Creola C. Jones. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin L. "Jake" and Creola C. Jones; daughter, Amy C. Davis; granddaughter, Marissa Ann Byrd. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William L. "Bill" Davis of Hurley, MS; son, William Prentiss "Prent" Davis (Sarah) of Mobile, AL; daughter, Amanda Mason (Jeremiah) of Long Beach, MS; two sisters, Nancy C. Braud, Marcia Jones, both of Prairieville, LA; four grandchildren, Brynn Aiden Sweetapple, Eaen Mason, Trey Mason, Logan Byrd. Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2023, at County Line Baptist Church, State Line, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2023, at County Line Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Dr. Terry Williams and Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will be in County Line Cemetery in State Line, MS.
