Mrs. Mary Horne Bonner, 90, of Hattiesburg, MS passed from this life Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Thursday, December 5, 1935, to the late Curtis Lee Horne and Amy Lomax Horne. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hattiesburg. She retired from the East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian, MS as a secretary. Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Malcolm Alexander Bonner, Sr.; parents, Curtis Lee Horne and Amy Lomax Horne; two sisters, Faye Johnson and Joyce Mason. She is survived by her son, retired (USAF) Lt. Col. Malcolm Alexander Bonner, Jr. (Kelly) of Panama City, FL; daughter, Lisa Bonner Gunnufsen (Ken) of Hattiesburg, MS; three granddaughters, Amanda Farris (Brad), Laura Gunnufsen, and JoAnna Willis (Cade); three great grandsons, Calvin Farris, Charlie Farris, and Lincoln Willis; with one precious great granddaughter due in April. Visitation for Mrs. Bonner will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Geneva Presbyterian Church, L B Odom Drive Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 16, 2026, at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Knox Baird officiating. Interment will be in Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
