Mr. Martin T. Montelongo, 63, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, November 26, 1961, to the late Ines Martinez Montelongo and Aurora Gonzalez Trevino Montelongo. He worked as an Overnight Stocker at Wal-Mart in Waynesboro, MS. Mr. Montelongo is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving companion, Jannette Holifield of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Martin Montelongo and Michael Montelongo (Tricia), both of Bloomington, CA; two daughters, Marta Washington (Christopher) of Grand Terrace, CA and Patsy Montelongo of Waynesboro, MS; two sisters, Gloria Hidalgo-Montelongo and Aurora Montelongo; brother, Ines Montelongo, Jr.; five grandchildren, Christopher Washington, Jr., Troy Montelongo, Aurora Montelongo, Logan Montelongo, and Riley Montelongo; step children, Amos D. Holifield, Jr., Randy E. Holifield (Marticia), Brad Holifield (Amanda), and Ashley Paton (Geoff), all Waynesboro, MS; step grandchildren, Samantha Monson, Ami Monson, Jason D. Holifield, Heather Holifield, Nicole Holifield, Hunter Holifield, Kilah Dearman, Brannigan Holifield, Cameron Holifield, and Dallen Holifield; 7 step great grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Mr. Montelongo will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS.
