Marian D. Ward, 73, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Waynesboro on Sunday, May 2, 1948 to George Walley and Bertie Mae Walley. She was a member of Clara First Church of God. She had worked at Ellisville State School as a Training Instructor. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ward; father, George Walley and mother, Bertie Mae Walley; three brothers, Lester Walley, Johnny Walley, Jimmy Walley; two sisters, Ruby Smith and Joyce West. She is survived by two brothers, Luther H. Walley (Martha), Waynesboro, MS, Marlon Walley (Imogene), Clara, MS; sister, Merlene Johnson, Clara, MS; and several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation for Marian will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery.
