Mrs. Margie P. Dyess, 77, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Shubuta, MS on Friday, May 5, 1944 to Curtis Williams and Lizzie Williams. She was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. She had worked as an Associate at Walmart for 20 Years. Mrs. Margie is preceded in death by her father, Curtis Williams; mother, Lizzie Williams; daughter, Marjorie Wilean Dyess; brother, Buddy Williams; nephew, James Beard. She is survived by her husband of 56 Years, Wiley I. Dyess, Shubuta, MS; sister, Brenda Beard Davis (Butch), Laurel, MS; special niece, Rubye West (Donald), Beat Four, MS; two nephews, Timothy Beard (Ashley), Laurel, MS, Michael Beard (Amanda), Waynesboro, MS; great niece, Candy Pitts (Thoye), Waynesboro, MS; great nephew, Matt West (Crystale), Shubuta, MS; two great-great nieces, Rylee Pitts, Waynesboro, MS, Brooklyn West, Shubuta, MS; two great-great nephews, Tyler Williamson, Waynesboro, MS, Jackson West, Shubuta, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Margie will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Shubuta, MS.
