Ms. Margaret E. "Snookie" Ferguson, 84, of State Line, MS passed from this life Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Greene County Health and Rehabilitation in Leakesville, MS. She was born in Washington County, AL on Wednesday, November 17, 1937 to George W. Ferguson and Margaret H. Ferguson. She was a member of Eret Baptist Church. She had worked as a Kitchen Prepper at Jordan's Fish Camp for many years. Ms. Snookie is preceded in death by her father, George W. Ferguson; mother, Margaret H. Ferguson; three brothers, Gerald Ferguson, Cassell Ferguson, Dexter Ferguson, She is survived by her brother, Rex Ferguson (Clydell), Clara, MS; five sisters, Gertrude Odom, State Line, MS, Lutrica Jordan, State Line, MS, Sadie Ross, Loxley, AL, Mary Jane Smith, Waynesboro, MS, Thelma Ann Garris (Darrell), State Line, MS; a host of Nieces and Nephews she helped raise. Visitation for Ms. Snookie will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 11, 2022 with a Lie-in-State from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eret Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Glen Bynum officiating. Interment will be in Eret Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
