Ms. Margaret Cooley, 80, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, November 22, 1944, to the late Arnold Claudis and Grace Landrum Cooley. She was very devoted and faithful too attended Big Creek Baptist Church in Clara, MS.

Ms. Cooley is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Claudis and Grace Landrum Cooley; five brothers, Aldean Cooley, S. V. Cooley, H. T. Cooley, W. C. Cooley, and John Cooley; three sisters, Jewel Ruth Huckabee, Virginia Mills, and Myrtle Cunningham. She is survived by her brother, Mitchell Cooley of Laurel, MS; two sisters, Christine Williams of Meridian, MS and Glenda C. Brewer (Stanley) of Waynesboro, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Ms. Cooley will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Salem Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
