Mrs. Malynda Joyce Davis, 64, of Lake Charles, LA passed from this life Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, August 23, 1958 to George Harvel Davis and Lois Eleanor Davis. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Malynda is preceded in death by father, George Harvel Davis; mother, Lois Eleanor Davis; three brothers, G. W. Davis, Ricky Davis, Michael Davis; four sisters, Barbara Davis, Carol McLain, Cynthia Davis, Sandra McMichael. She is survived by her brother, Robert Davis, Waynesboro, MS; good friend, Larry Wilmore; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Malynda will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Frankie Clark officiating. Interment will be in Boyles Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Matthew Davis, Brian Richardson, Brian Thomas Richardson, Michael Davis, Johnny Waites, Robert Davis, Jr., and Tony Powell.
